Pain

Before treatment for my Bipolar Disorder, and Recovery for my addictions, I spent years avoiding pain by self-medicating and using other maladaptive coping mechanisms.

Through years of practice, I have learned to lean into the pain and use healthy tools to mitigate it. Instead of numbing it or running from it.
