Intimacy

For some of us, intimacy can be scary, as it opens us up to potential rejection or shaming.

However, we can’t exchange love without allowing others in through intimacy.

Without intimacy, we remain “safely” immiserated in the fortress of isolation. Which for some of us equates to active addiction.
