Fear of failure can plague and paralyze those of us with mental illness, emotional trauma, or addiction. Shame, perfectionism, low self-worth, thought distortions, and self-hatred can all contribute.
To survive and thrive, we need to find tools and support so that those monsters in our heads and hearts don’t destroy us.
One such tool is to reframe “failure” as an opportunity to learn, grow, and be vulnerable, which gets us connected to others and the Universe. And to embrace it as an inevitable part of being human.
