Some of us with a mental illness are plagued by perfectionist self-talk that attacks us mercilessly.
One of those attacks can be that we are “lazy” if we aren’t being busy or productive.
We have to counter that nasty lie with the truth that we need to pay attention to our minds and bodies, resting when necessary. And that’s OK.
And sometimes we have to keep reciting that like a broken record. And that’s OK too.
