When Kevin Hines was in high school, his Bipolar Disorder caused him to start hearing voices. His torment became so intense that he finally decided to kill himself.

At age 20, Hines stood on the Golden Gate Bridge for 40 minutes. No one approached him to ask what was wrong. When a tourist came up and asked whether he could take her photo, Hines said that was the final straw — clear proof that no one cared.

He took the picture, then jumped. Instantly, he realized he had made a mistake, and came up with a plan to save his life.

The impact from the 200′ fall kills 98% of those who take it.

Miraculously, Kevin survived and, now 37, has devoted his life to helping others who are suffering mental agony.

Thank you, Kevin!

And kindness and caring matter!
